Do you know who will be getting MY support through the clean-up of these storms? It will be people in Haiti. First of all, they have no TV or Radio to warn them. They were hit in the middle of the night--with no time to react. They live in thatch roof houses with dirt floors. These people truly had no warning--and if they had it-- no way to escape. Take a look at http://missiontohaiti.org. We are one of the richest nations of the world. I know we need to help our own. BUT--We have the information. They were told to evacuate. They chose (notice-- CHOSE) not to. My heart goes out to these brand new Christians in Haiti and to the Pastors who teach Christ to them. I have served there on a mission trip-- and it is amazing how thankful these people are for the nothing that they have. I will pray for my fellow Americans, but I will do everything I can to help our fellow Christians in Haiti--who had no choice. Love, Tammy You know who I feel bad for? I am sure it is hard to leave everything behind, but do you really think you can save everything in a flood....I mean seriously was Hurricane Katrina not enough to show you it can happen to you. It is common sense and it is sad to see that there are so many without it. You can't help to feel sorry for those who are losing everything because of Mother Nature, but listen to the warnings when they say it is a BIG storm. Get out!! It is just an act of selfishness.
