Really! How could anyone think that the Nintendo Wii isn’t the best thing next to sliced bread? I obviously am spilling yet another Ms.Conception! I can’t tell you how much fun our family has had on the Nintendo Wii. My daughter who absolutely hates sports loves boxing of all things. While I will have to say, her form is quite funny, she usually comes out the victor, and it is cute as all get out to watch her.

My son is quite the baseball player and bowler. The competition rises everytime our family takes part in a game or two. We also sit in front of the tv and sing with the High School Musical game! We have enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to everyone!

The Nintento Wii is tons of fun for the entire Familii, try it and you will Sii!

Thank you Sarah Palin for puting this Ms.Conception to rest!

I have been watching Fox News Network and the footage they have been playing showing Sarah Palin in office waiting outside for her girls to get off the school bus with excitement to see them is exactly who I think she is. She seems to have a love for her family, but also for what she’s been doing in Alaska.

Many women feel like she is a wonderful contribution to this campaign, I am one of them. I am a woman with traditional values and have a conservative outlook on many issues. Does that make me a bad person? No, but I am glad that I have a woman representing me this year. Sadly, there are many women who have formed an opinion of Sarah Palin that is just not true. Many of the liberal women who have been fighting for Women’s rights are the very ones badmouthing her–why? Because it wasn’t one of them who was nominated to run for VP. So now that she’s not a liberal, in your face type of woman, she doesn’t have the right to be the first female Vice President of the United States? Why? Because she’s a Republican and not liberal enough for you? I really want to know, because I thought women’s rights were for all women, not just women of a particular party or belief system.

The thing that upsets me the most is Hillary Clinton got praises from all over, women saying, “Hillary Speaks For Me”, where did that come from? She doesn’t speak for me. On September 5, 2008 Gloria Steinem wrote a blog entry on www.womensvoicesforchange.org entitled “Wrong Woman, Wrong Message”. This was all about how Sarah Palin is not the right woman and she doesn’t send the right message. So? Who is the right woman, and what message are we wanting to send? The last time I checked, the Feminist movement was to get women out of the house, not fulfilling the sterotypical roles that were depicted in Leave It To Beaver, and to have fair treatment, the same treatment men receive. Isn’t that what Sarah Palin is doing? Yes! So how is she the wrong woman? Why is it the wrong message? Oh, because she’s not in your camp?

This is going to be a very interesting campaign year. This could be the defining moment for the traditional woman, with good morals and values. Please do your research and send the message loud and clear that we think Sarah Palin is the Right Woman with the Right Message!

Okay, I don’t want to seem insensitive, but really! I am watching the Today Show this morning and they are talking about the hurricane in Galveston, TX. There are people all over the news begging for people to help them, standing in line for food and water and upset because they aren’t getting anything. A lady was holding her little boy and said they didn’t have a car because it was floating in the water. My question is, did you have a working car prior to Ike hitting?

I am tired of people staying when they were told to leave and if they stayed that they needed to write their social security number on their arms with a Sharpie. Seriously! A friend of ours had a good point. They were told to leave and didn’t, so when the funding starts coming, should they really get aid?

People don’t always make good, sound decisions, but when my life and safety of my family is on the line, it really should be a no-brainer.

WOW! This couldn’t be a bigger Ms.Conception!!! I am watching Sarah Palin and I am totally impressed with her! I can’t wait to see how this election unfolds.

I will have to say that this match for Republican president and vice president is a great one and a very brilliant move on John McCain’s part. The genius behind it was not only a shock to me, but to the entire voting public.

I know she has some issues in her family with her 17 year old daughter getting pregnant, but what family in the United States hasn’t encountered problems? Granted many families haven’t encountered teenage pregnancy, but many have and how cool is it, that now those families have someone representing them that is going through the same thing. I also love how she pledged tonight to the families of special needs that she would be their advocate in office. This is huge. What a way to start making a difference in this messed up world.

Sarah Palin, is a strong woman who has her head on straight and this team has my vote!

Okay, so this is a more serious post, sorry! I was reminded just the other day by my mom that she was 36 when she was first diagnosed with breast cancer. By God’s healing hand, she is still with me today and I take that for granted far to much! I couldn’t imagine what life would be without her. Sure, there are times when we don’t see eye to eye, and I get frustrated, but I am quickly reminded what the other option is. I do know that when either one of us leaves this earth, I want it to be on good terms–Love you mom!

Now, I just turned 34 and while I know it isn’t true, I feel like I’ve got a while before I need to start getting those most important exams. I have lost many people in my family because of cancer and I am watching God work in so many lives through a friend who is battling cancer daily. I absolutely hate cancer. I can’t believe it even exists, so with that in mind, think about how I might feel about those dreaded tests.

I know it needs to be done, so my charge to you as a woman who hasn’t gone through the testing–let’s bond together and take care of ourselves! Our families deserve it!

If you are like me and haven’t had your testing, share with me why it’s hard for you to jump right in to have it done. If you have had testing, let the readers know what it’s like with no candy coating! We need to have it done, it’s just a matter of when.

Yet another Ms.Conception! This summer has been the best summer our family has ever had. We did a lot of fun things together. Jason and I realized that we won’t have our children forever, so we are taking advantage of the time that we do have. We have been camping twice this year and surprised the kids with a couple of late night movies, plus the kids got to go away for the first time to Ohio to spend the week with their Aunt Kendra.

Ethan and Abby have done a lot of growing up this summer. They are kids, and they love to have fun, but one thing that I have been working on them with is getting along and learning how to give in to other’s wishes. It’s hard for them to learn outward focus at this age, but little lessons here and there have really paid off! Ethan and Abby have gotten along this summer so well and both of them have been willing to compromise and meet halfway on things.

They started school today. Abby proudly walked into her first grade class without looking back. As I watched my little girl climbing up one more rung of her life’s ladder, I couldn’t help thinking about what I went through after she was born, and I just stood there thanking God for the blessings He’s given me! Ethan had to be at school a whole hour earlier than Abby, so he went with Jason. Ethan got the teacher he wanted! Mrs. Ponchot! She is very pretty, so I am hoping that he’ll actually learn this year!

Well, the hardest thing this summer by far has been sending the kids back to school. After the summer we’ve had, I just wasn’t done with them. It’s sad, but I know this is what I am suppose to do. Teach and train and set them free.
